Makeup Tip of the Week

Having trouble with those big and fun costume lashes that you purchased for your Halloween?! Try this method...

1. Before applying your eyeliner, squeeze a pebble size drop of the eyelash adhesive on a counter or small mirror, dip the end of a toothpick, or tale end of an eye shadow brush in the adhesive and pick up a generous amount. 
2. While holding the eyelash by the lashes run the adhesive along the length of the "spine" of the lash. (This will create a thinner layer of adhesive that will create less mess and adhere much more quickly.)
3. After applying the adhesive, you are ready to apply the lash to your lash line, look down instead of closing your eyelid to apply along your natural lash line. Believe it or not this works! (this will prevent your lashes from becoming adhered to your bottom lashes!)
4. Allow the adhesive 30 seconds to dry and repeat for the other eye.  After both eyes are complete, apply your desired eyeliner, and add a little more mascara to blend your natural lashes with your costume lashes.
